The Art Series Hotel Group is committed to celebrating Australian contemporary artists. Taking inspiration from selected Australian artists each hotel celebrates their chosen artist and their artwork and personality throughout the hotel.

The design concept for the newest Art Series Hotel to open in Fremantle was inspired by its location and the artwork of local Western Australian artist Pip Phelps. Combining Pip’s fun energetic and colourful artwork with Fremantle’s vibrant laidback, and vintage vibe “The Phelps” exemplifies a bright, fun, and modern retro aesthetic which perfectly captures Pip’s artwork and personality and the hippy beach town of Fremantle.
